LED Growing Lights

Plants do not use all parts of the spectrum equally.  This is because photosynthetic pigments like chlorophyll and carotene absorb light very strongly at particular wavelengths.  Using the right colors in the proper proportions, the performance of LED lighting can be optimized. This graph shows how the spectrum of LED grow lights mirrors that of the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll, a plant's primary energy collecting pigment. Also see that the peak of the spectrum of our red lights matches the peak of the photosynthetic response curve. LED grow lights produce light that plants can use very efficiently.

We carry a range of LED growing lights but do not stock them at our European warehouse. If you are interested please contact us to discuss you requirements.
